Partials

Partials are an option to replace missing teeth. They can replace one tooth or several missing teeth in an arch. There are two options for partials. a traditional partial uses a metal substructure wit acrylic fused on top to mimic gum and tooth structure. A traditional partial uses metal clasps to secure the partial in

place. A second option is a flexi-partial which is made of a thermoplastic. This type of partial is lighter weight has improved flexibility and increased esthetics due to no metal being used to make it. A partial is recommended to be removed from the mouth and cleaned using a toothbrush daily.
